We are heartbroken at the news that another mother and child have fallen victim to the horrors of legal abortion in this country. Last week, a 29 year-old woman, with her whole life ahead of her, walked into LeRoy Carhart’s office and never walked out. Dr. Carhart did more than just end the life of her eight month child-in-utero, he ended hers.
Carhart has a long history of abhorrent practices at his late-term abortion facilities. He should have been shut down a long time ago. If he had, this mother and child and countless others would still be alive today. He needs to be stopped immediately.
We pray for this young woman and her family and recommit ourselves to abolishing all abortion so that never again will a woman feel that killing the life within her is her only choice. So that never again will a pre-born child have his or her life snuffed out in the womb. So that never again will butchers like LeRoy Carhart be legally allowed to take the life of mother and child.

Ok so I live literally 20 minutes from this clinic and other than stuff on LifeSiteNews and Operation Rescue, I haven’t found anything about this happening. This would be big news in the DC area. There’s nothing on NBC4, ABC7, or WUSA9 about this. There isn’t even anything in the Montgomery Gazette. Hmm….
Also, if the pregnancy was 8 months along, that means that 1) the parent wanted to maintain the pregnancy, and 2) there was something seriously wrong with the fetus. Complications happen sometimes with late-term abortions, as with any other surgery. Doesn’t mean that Dr. Carhart should be demonized. It was an accident.

If you’re questioning whether or not this really happened, here’s an article in the Washington Post. ABC 7/News Channel 8 were also at today’s press conference and will probably cover the story.

Late term abortions kill viable pre-born babies. This is no accident. Dr. Carhart’s goal is always to kill 1, this time he tragically killed 2, and it’s not the first time.
